Bigbank - Financial Back-office
The focus of this project was to study the current financial back-office and provide our accountants with a tailored and more robust system.
What is Bigbank?
Bigbank is a bank specialized in loans, operating in several countries across Europe, mainly in the nordic and baltic regions. At Bigbank, I was responsible for designing client-facing loan applications for baltic countries (web and mobile) as well as their back-offices, group financial back-office, and partner systems.
Task
The main goal was to develop a Financial Back-office in-house and get rid of the legacy software that had several issues. For this project, I worked very closely with developers, analysts, and PMs to deliver the best product possible. I also worked very closely to the users, which in this case were our own accountants, so I could talk to them very frequently, try new ideas, and get feedback quite often.
